Unison Research offers through their UNICO line of stereo components a unique selection of hybrid solid state – tubed models, from CD players to power amplifiers.  There is even a hybrid AM/FM tuner selection.

The unique circuit designs employed in the UNICO product line results in a sound that is very much tube-like, but with no loss of fine detail or loose bass or any of the other shortcomings of tubed electronics.  What you do get in detailed, non-fatiguing sound with superior dynamics and a very low noise floor.
