Connected-Fidelity [ Float ] isolation devices offer excellent performance at prices that are lower than competing products.

Based in the UK, Connected-Fidelity has refined the art of mechanical isolation with their versatile [ Float ] isolation devices.  The [ Float ] devices, or pucks, use an arrangement of floating spheres held within two circular cup-shaped channels.  The micro-movement of these spheres absorbs vibrational energy from components or airborne sources that reach the pucks and then release that energy as heat.

These spheres are made of hardened chromium steel.  The housing that holds the spheres and the coaster base of the puck are made of anodized aluminum.  The original [ Float ] puck model has POM foot spheres in both sides of the puck to provide further non-resonant coupling to both the component resting on it and the coaster on the bottom side of the puck.  In the case of the heavier-duty [ Float ] 30 model, these spheres are made of hardened chromium steel.

Both models are offered in sets of either three or four pucks, and in a choice of silver or black anodized finish.  Both models also have accessories available to accept spike feet or with either M6 or M8 threaded studs to replace the feet on audio components.

The Connected-Fidelity Six Star power distribution block features six outlets, choice of IEC inputs, and RFI blocking.






 
 

Clean power is a benefit to any hi-fi system in terms of maintaining a low noise floor and eliminating the detrimental effects of radio frequency interference (RFI), which can be caused by a variety of wireless devices that are common in homes today.

The Six Star provides true star grounding, which helps to eliminate any chance of ground hum or other ground noise in electronic equipment.  The addition of wide band RFI filtering adds a second layer of defense against noise that can affect system resolution. 

The Six Star is point-to-point wired as well. No solder is used in the connections to help eliminate solder joint failure and any current loss due to the solder.  Internally, the Six Star uses large gauge wiring and bus bars to keep the unit from limiting current.

The Six Star features six high quality gold-plated outlets and low-resonance and non-magnetic casework.  It is available with either a standard C14 or heavy-duty C19 IEC input socket. 

Wide band RFI filtering is standard on the U.S. version of this product.  A power cord is not included.
