Fredrik Lejonklou was barely known outside his native Sweden as recently 2006, let alone being known in the States, but he has been learning, experimenting, and perfecting his craft for nearly 20 years.

You see, Fredrik Lejonklou spent a long time installing, repairing, and learning why things work with audio equipment. Along the way he wondered why moving magnet phono cartridges seemed to be pushed to the side to make room for moving coil designs when all the moving magnet cartridges needed for improved performance was a phono preamplifier designed with the care and attention to detail that was commonly given to moving coil phono preamplifiers.

From this thought process the Slipsik Reference phono preamplifier was born in 2006. The Kinki phono preamplifier and the Kikkin preamplifier/remote volume control have since followed.
