To complement the Classic Series mono amplifiers, Quad offers the QC line stage and phono stage preamplifiers.

In addition to this selection of mono power amplifiers, Quad also offers the QC- Twenty-Four preamplifier with optional solid state phono section and the QC- Twenty-Four P vacuum tube phono preamplifier.

The QC- Twenty-Four preamplifier features a 6111 twin triode tube. This tube is so reliable that it is hard-wired onto the circuit board. It also features two buffered recording loops and a balance control!

The balance control allows for fine adjustment of channel balance of up to 12 decibels in either direction. A plug-in solid stage phono section is also available as an option on the QC- Twenty-Four.

The QC- Twenty-Four offers vanishing low distortion, exception band width, and beautiful sound at a reasonable price.

The QC- Twenty-Four P vacuum tube phono preamplifier is a stand-alone phono stage that offers vanishingly low distortion measurements and the choice of variable output level. It is suitable for most moving magnet and moving coil phono cartridges on the market.

Quiet operation, flat frequency response, and wide bandwidth operation are what the QC- Twenty-Four P have to offer; all at a very reasonable price.
