Vienna Acoustics presents a new reference- The Klimt Series.

It seemed only natural for Vienna Acoustics to name their absolute reference loudspeaker line after one of the most thrilling artists the city of Vienna has ever been home to.  Gustav Klimt is an artist whose has ever immense achievements in visual art were profoundly inspired by music.

Born just south of Vienna, Austria in 1862, Gustav Klimt studied architectural painting in Vienna as a teenager before launching his early career as a painter of murals and ceilings.  Before Klimt reached his thirtieth birthday, he had earned recognition from Austria’s emperor and a recommendation to join the faculty of Vienna’s prestigious Academy of Fine Arts.

Klimt’s more notable creations include “The Kiss” and “The Music”, both works which have been honored by having Vienna Acoustics Klimt Series models named after them, and the Beethoven Frieze, which ranks as one of the major works on display at the Viennese Jugendstil.
