The PolyTable Standard offers class leading performance at a very reasonable price. For a relatively small difference in price, the PolyTable Super offers improved performance over the PolyTable Standard by including the Digital Motor Drive, adding a more massive platter, adding George Merrill’s liquid suspended motor (borrowed from the Merrill-Williams R.E.A.L. turntable), and by accommodating a 12 inch tonearm.
The latest entry in the PolyTable line, the PolyTable Signature is nearly the equal of the highly regarded Merrill-Williams turntable, but at less than half the price. The Signature features a double plinth with the liquid-suspended motor mounted on the base plinth section for further isolation, and the tonearm and bearing on the upper plinth. Other features are a two piece platter system, included Digital Motor Drive system, and the Merrill R.C.C. record mat bonded to the platter.

The PolyRing is composed of cast bronze, which is then forged and milled to precise dimensions and weight for a perfect fit on GEM Dandy turntables. The PolyRing adds periphery weight to the platter, which can improve speed stability, and it also aids in clamping the record firmly to the platter, which can reduce resonance and securely flatten the record to aid in tracking.
If the PolyTable that you have was manufactured in 2023 or later, the PolyRing will fit on your current platter. If you have an older PolyTable your platter will need to be exchanged for a new one. The R.C.C. (Rubber Cork Compound) record mat is exactly what the name implies. It is a durable compound devised by George Merrill to effectively damp and drain resonances from the record during playback, and to prevent outside resonances from reaching the record through the platter.
We highly recommend this mat for ANY turntable that needs a platter mat. This is the best mat that we’ve used here at any price on a number of turntables. The Gem Dandy R.C.C. Record Mat is 3 millimeters (1/8 inch) thick.
